When she isn't writing about herself in third person, Mandy the school librarian can be found digging through young adult and new adult lit. An avid reader of all genres (but she secretly told me she loves sci-fi and true crime the most), you will usually see her with her nose in a book or face aglow from her Kindle app.

Library is her favorite thing in the world. Collaborating with teachers to enrich students' lives and having conversations about things that matter really get her creativity flowing. Student voice and student-centered library practices are her passion.

A former roller girl and roller derby referee, she can also be found cheering on skaters from the stands. Recently, she developed a fascination with yarn and knits like a blind dog - enthusiastically but lacking a certain
 je ne sais quoi.
